Feel the Cool Breeze in Sapporo
Experience winter wonderland in the northern part of Japan.
Have you ever dreamed of playing in the snow and looking out into a scenery that is just pure white? Well, up north in Japan is the island of Hokkaido. While known for having the longest winters and the shortest summers, it’s also famous for its hot springs and vast flower farms. Even local tourists flock to Hokkaido for its fresh seafoods, cheese, and chocolates!
Sapporo, as the capital of Hokkaido, is where the annual Snow Festival is held. During this season, the city is transformed into a winter wonderland. Hundreds of gigantic ice statues and sculptures are displayed, gaining the attention of millions of local and foreign tourists.
In 2018, just in time for the annual Snow Festival, Karaksa Hotel opened their Sapporo branch right at the popular Tanuki Koji Shopping Arcade, which gives guests easy access to train stations. And like other Karaksa Hotel branches, its rooms are mostly standard twin and can be interconnected to accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children (6 y/o and below free of charge).
