Feel the Cool Breeze in Sapporo

Experience winter wonderland in the northern part of Japan.

One of the two entrance lobbies of Karaksa Hotel Sapporo (Opening January 22, 2018)

Have you ever dreamed of playing in the snow and looking out into a scenery that is just pure white? Well, up north in Japan is the island of Hokkaido. While known for having the longest winters and the shortest summers, it's also famous for its hot springs and vast flower farms. Even local tourists flock to Hokkaido for its fresh seafoods, cheese, and chocolates!

Sapporo, being the capital of Hokkaido, is where the annual Snow Festival is being held. During this season, the city is being transformed into a winter wonderland with its hundreds of gigantic ice statues and sculptures that is gaining attention for millions of local and foreign tourists.

Karaksa Hotel is opening their Sapporo branch in time for 2018 Snow Festival (February 5 to 11). It is located right at the popular Tanuki Koji Shopping Arcade with an easy access to train stations. Like other Karaksa Hotel branches, its rooms mostly are standard twin and can be connected to accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children (6 y/o and below free of charge).
