We’ve started to see the rising popularity of tapioca drinks, which originated in Taiwan, in Japan. So, it’s no surprise that Tiger Sugar is opening its store today, October 18, in the famed American Village in Shisaibashi in Osaka.
The store is the brand’s first branch in Kansai and has a café space on the second floor. You can enjoy your drinks while having a chat with friends or taking a break to rest your feet from a full day of sightseeing.
The Taiwanese brand is known for their signature drink—the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse. You’ve probably seen it on your Instagram feed—posted by your favorite actor or your friend. We don’t need to warn you to brace yourself for the long queues especially on opening day. But if you’re a fan of tapioca drinks, it’ll be worth the wait.
