A Pokemon Cafe Is Opening in Japan
There's still time to save up for those plane tickets!
It's a great year to be a '90s kid: You can visit a Hello Kitty-themed cafe in Manila, Tamagotchi will soon be playable on your smartphone, and Japan is opening a Pokemon-themed cafe. The new Pokemon Cafe will open together with the new Pokemon Center at Takashimaya Department Store on March 14, 2018.
Japan has hosted Pokemon Cafe pop-ups in the past, including one that revolved completly around Pikachu, but this is the first time that a permanent Pokemon Cafe is opening. Judging from the previous pop-ups, you can expect Pokemon-themed burgers, curry, desserts, and more.
The Pokemon Cafe will open at Takashimaya Department Store, 241 Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
