In Japan, you can always expect to find kitchen cars during outdoor events. The dishes and beverages that they serve typically range from handheld desserts and coffee to light snacks.

Little Village Cafe
Have a cup of coffee while enjoying the view and open-air environment.
Little Village Cafe is a famous mobile cafe that has been roaming the streets for 10 years. Coffee that’s made with home-roasted beans is prepared inside the retro Volkswagen. Their drinks have an excellent quality to them which you wouldn’t expect from an outdoor shop. Aside from this, freshly cooked crepes that cost as low as ¥420 are also available here.
Once your order from the van, the beans are ground and extracted using an espresso machine.
Cafe Latte (¥370)
The Ichigo Daifuku Crepe (¥450) has lots of red bean paste.
For more details, you can visit Little Village Cafe’s official Facebook page.
Their menu has a great selection of hand drip coffee and lattes. They also serve an elderflower drink.
sun.river.coffee is a specialty coffee mobile cafe that runs on a white TownAce van. Their coffee beans come from 27 COFFEE ROASTERS in Tsujido, and gluten-free sweets are sold here.
The drinks are caramelized using a butane torch and matcha is freshly-whisked inside the van.
The Creme Brulee Latte (¥500) with sweet, aromatic, and crunchy caramelized sugar is the shop’s best-selling item during winter. The shop also serves a Smooth Cheesecake (¥350) that’s rich yet not too sweet.
