You Have to Visit These Unique and Fruity Dessert Shops in Kyoto

There are lots of flavors to choose from!

A variety of sweets are available in Kyoto
such as fruit sandwiches that highlight the sweetness and acidity of fresh fruits. Another one to look out for is a Japanese-style parfait that is rich in flavor from Mont Blanc and Matcha.

CAFE attmos

is a hot cafe among customers operated by an invite-only Japanese Kappo restaurant at Gion. The restaurant's cuisine is handled by the chef from the Kappo restaurant and uses the same ingredients. In this cafe, you can try their high-level delicate sweets that would satisfy your cravings. One of their recommended dishes is their toast with fruits made by a Chef that is skilled in using a knife. Their lunch menus and dishes also highlights the Chef’s cooking technique.

Daiwa Kyoto Main Store

Daiwa Kyoto Main Store
is a fruit sweets specialty store produced by Daiwa Super, a long-established fruit and vegetable store popular in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture. The reason why their fruit sandwiches with chunky fruits are sold at a reasonable price starting from ¥380 is because the store personally produces the fruit and vegetables they use. The natural sweetness of the fruit is compatible with fresh cream. We recommend Fresh Fruit Soft (¥1,080) that is full of fruits.

Fruit Amazake
(¥580) was launched as a new menu last November. They also made an amazake drink with Amazake Mizukagami made from 100% Omi rice Mizukagami by Shiga Prefecture's long-established store brewer, Mifuku Shuzo Sake Brewing. The drink is not only delicious but good for your health. It is available in different flavors like pineapple, strawberry, muskmelon, kiwi, and nagano purple. For their future releases, they plan to launch Yakiimo Soft (soft-serve ice cream with baked sweet potato) that uses the natural sweetness of Anno-imo.
