GARDEN HOUSE CAFÉ
Tokyo JR East Tokyo Ticket Gate B1, GRANSTA MARUNOUCHI
1-9-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo
Japan has no shortage of excellent cafes and bakeries, and we’ve just found our newest favorite. GARDEN HOUSE CAFE may have just opened at GRANSTA MARUNOUCHI last year, but people are already raving about their breads. While they offer the same soup, sandwiches, and coffee as popular Kamakura bakery GARDEN HOUSE, GARDEN HOUSE CAFE takes pride in their bread selection, some of which are baked every morning at the equally famous GARDEN HOUSE CRAFTS in Daikanyama.
This new branch is also the first store to source their bread from two of Tokyo’s famous bakeries: Addict au Sucre (Toritsu Daigaku Station) and Signifiant Signifie (Ikejiri-hashi Station).
“Many customers are glad that now they can buy the bread at Tokyo Station because the original bakers are far away. Now they can easily compare the tastes of breads which are sold in different bakeries, and they don’t have to walk around Tokyo to buy those breads anymore,” says a staff member.
