Pokemon fans, there's finally a Pokemon-themed cafe in Japan that's not a pop-up! Together with the new Pokemon Center at Takashimaya Department Store, the first-ever permanent Pokemon Cafe recently opened last March. And judging from its evolving Pokemon-inspired menu, this is definitely "the very best."

ECONECO Café & Sweet


The first café of the brand ECONECO, pink perfect ECONECO Café & Sweet is created by a popular illustrator. Aside from the two themed floors with cute interiors, the shop also offers yummy desserts like ice cream and serves coffee and tea. They use Italian brand Illy for their coffee and ceylon tea from Le Monded'd Alice for their tea.

Salagadoola Cafe inside Cafe and Dining Bar 367°


Bean-to-bar chocolate shop Salagadoola is setting the record straight: Healthy can be delicious, and vice-versa. In collaboration with Cafe and Dining Bar 367°, the Omotesando cafe is now offering a nutritious, and dare we say it, mouth-watering cocoa nibs menu. Order the double tap-worthy Cocoa Nib Bowl, a medley of cocoa nib granola, extra virgin coconut oil, fresh fruits, and plain roasted and sugar-roasted cocoa nibs.

Shaun the Sheep Café with Sunday Brunch

Shaun the Sheep's 10th anniversary, Aardman Animations, in partnership with Japanese department store chain Parco, has opened a branch of Shaun the Sheep Café with Sunday Brunch in Tokyo. KAMEE COFFEE


If ever you're around the Sanjo shopping district, make sure to drop by KAMEE COFFEE. Aside from its famous Okinawa-sourced sweets and foods and hand-drip coffee and espresso, you'll appreciate the interiors of the cafe, which give off a warm, relaxed vibe. The building, which goes back about 80 years, features wooden timbers and makes use of recycled materials and decorative items.
