LOOK: Tokyo Has a Conveyor Belt Sweets Cafe That’s Perfect for Your IG Feed
It's a feast for the eyes!
MAISON ABLE Cafe Ron Ron
6-7-15, Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
Open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Last order is at 7 p.m.).
MAISON ABLE Café Ron Ron is a conveyor belt sweets café by ABLE INC. that opened in Harajuku last July 16.
This cafe is part of a larger project called MAISON ABLE, which supports girls in aspects like clothes, food, and lifestyle. In partnership with the TRANSIT GENERAL OFFICE, the company opened the conveyor belt sweets cafe based on the growing popularity of the classic eat-all-you-can buffet among the young people.
The café features more than 25 kinds of cute standard and tropical sweets on a conveyor belt. Their menu includes macaron cotton candy, crepes, pancakes, and ice cream, among others.
Guests can enjoy watching the sweets lined up on the 38-meter lane. They can even eat whatever they want within 40 minutes for only ¥1,800!
Since the cafe’s name is Ron Ron, which in French, pertains to the sound a cat makes when it purrs, there’s a special cake that’s decorated with a cat.
Other than the sweets, the cafe also offers savory snacks like egg sandwiches, potato chips, and mini burgers containing stir-fried soba noodles. You can alternate between these snacks and sweets until you are full!
Beverages are part of their menu as well. They serve coffee, teas, fruit juices, and more. On top of that, they’ve got original bottles that come in cute colors, too!
The cafe’s elegant pink interiors beautifully complement the pastel-colored sweets.
All in all, you shouldn’t pass up the chance to take a photo or two for your Instagram feed!
