This Café in Japan Serves Their Drinks In Local Traditional Mugs

STREAMER COFFEE COMPANY, a coffee chain mainly found within Tokyo, opened a Japanese tasting cafe last September 7, 2018 called Kuramoto Baisen Saryo, Kyoya Hachiemon.

Kuramoto Baisen Saryo Kyoya Hachiemon is located at Gifu Prefecture Takayama Ekimae.

The coffee shop’s main concept is simply “Japan.” While maintaining a Japanese-style design, they arranged the space to be comfortable, simple, and modern.

People from different countries flock to the café to get a taste of their delicious handmade coffee and request for the baristas’ world-class latte art.

Japanese-inspired drinks like
KYO, a matcha latte that makes use of Kyoto Uji Matcha, shaved ice, anmitsu, and ice cream, are served at the café.

In addition to this, the coffee shop utilizes cups that were made using a style called
Mino Yaki. Customers who are having their coffee at the shop will be able to admire and enjoy the traditional local pottery.
