ROCCA & FRIENDS TRUCK is a specialty coffee and Japanese tea drink stand started by ROCCA & FRIENDS, a popular café, in Takatsuki, Osaka.
Inspired by Kyoto’s landscape, their menu consists of Japanese teas in raspberry flavor and decorated drinks topped with uniquely shaped yatsuhashi (a sweet made from rice flour, sugar, and cinnamon). Some of the treats resemble a kanji character “大” and the Japanese gate located in front of shrines.
Houjicha Latte (¥1,000) and Matcha Latte (¥1,200)
Their lattes are quite popular for their garnishings and rich flavors. Take note that stocks for these drinks are limited and that they are only available for takeout!
Raspberry flavored Japanese tea Senko (¥600) and Nuts (¥300)
Their teas, on the other hand, give you that distinct fruity aroma and taste. You can pair your drinks with some snacks that are also sold there.
Aside from their pretty beverages, the stand is immediately noticeable for its unique exteriors.
A truck was converted to create this quaint and minimalist drink stand.
Don’t forget to take good pictures of the beverages and truck to fill up your IG feed!
