At marble blanc bubbles (mbb), you can try their Strawberry Choco Crumble (¥680), which is topped with strawberries, vanilla ice cream, shaved nama chocolate (ganache), and crumbles. The waffle can be torn into small pieces and dipped in the ice cream.

This popular Korean dessert cafe has created two new shaved ice desserts made with Japanese and western flavors and loads of strawberries in time for strawberry season. The Premium Strawberry Snowflakes Sherbet (¥1,500) is a bowl of milk-flavored shaved ice topped with plenty of strawberries and whipped cream. A slice of cheesecake is carefully placed on top of the whipped cream. The Nama Ichigo Sulbing (¥1,400) is also a bowl of milk-flavored shaved ice, but is topped with coarse sweet bean paste and strawberry slices. A daifuku (stuffed mochi) is added for a touch of Japanese taste. Both desserts are available during winter only.

Amaou Parfait Princess from Campbell Early (Lachic Fukuoka Tenjin Branch)
Directly managed by an imported fruits wholesale and retail company, Campbell Early has a highly trained staff that creates their parfaits and pancakes. Their Amaou Parfait Princess (¥1,836) is made only from the finest Amaou strawberries, whose sourness is perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the vanilla ice cream. Yogurt and raspberry ice cream are also added for a refreshing taste. This will be available until early May.

Zeitaku Ichigo Shortcake Cream Parfait from marbre blanc (Daimyo Konyamachi St. Branch)
Since marbre blanc Daimyo Konyamachi was established in 2002, their Cream Parfait, a soft serve filled with lots of strawberries, has become famous on Instagram. Their Zeitaku Ichigo Shortcake Cream Parfait (¥800) is served in a clear cup, so you can see the beautifully arranged strawberries inside. The whipped cream and sponge cake added to the cup also makes you feel like you’re eating a slice of cake.

Onimori Hakata Amaou Tart from NOYU
This pastry shop usually serves 18 colorful tarts with different flavors in the shop. During winter, tarts made using strawberries such as the Amaou or Saga Prefecture’s Ichigosan complete the display. Their Onimori Hakata Amaou Tart (¥2,100), a specialty tart that makes use of big and small Amaou strawberries arranged to form a 25-centimeter tower of six layers, is particularly sought after. Limited to 10 servings a day, it is held together by mousse made with different flavors, so each layer gives you a different experience.
