It's worth the hype!
Tamago Nouka no Kitchen recipio
Cocoterrace no Oka, 249-1, Otani Jiashibasama, Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture
Open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on Thursdays and the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.
Tamago Nouka no Kitchen recipio, which opened last June 2018, has become quite famous in social media for their lovely omelette rice menu.
The eggs used by the shop are carefully selected.
The shop makes use of Kometamago Eggs (rice eggs), which are cultivated from feeds such as rice produced in the Aichi Prefecture. This type of eggs have no odor and are characterized by a rich taste.
The Yonshu no Zeitaku Cheese Omu-rice consists of a delicious combination of thick cheese and runny eggs.
The popular menu, Yonshu no Zeitaku Cheese Omu-rice (¥1,177), is an omelette rice dish that uses four eggs and is well-coated with a sauce made of four types of luxury cheese.
recipio’s French toast
While the shop’s omelette rice dish is very popular, their French toast is also highly recommended. The recipio's French toast (¥972) is soaked in egg and Tokoname Milk, also from Aichi Prefecture, and is baked to achieve that fluffy texture and crispy crust. In addition to this, the French toast is also filled with plenty of gooey custard cream.
During its peak hours, a long line of customers forms in front of the shop.
With the omelette shop’s growing popularity, take note that the place can get very crowded from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. We suggest that you visit the shop before or after these times on weekdays.
