Miyajima Rilakkuma Sabo
537 Nakanocho, Miyajimacho, Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima
Open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
Miyajima Rilakkuma Sabo is the second Japanese-themed café opened last April 25 in Miyajima by Telacoya, a popular seller of traditional Japanese souvenirs, and San-X, the producer of the famous Rilakkuma character.
Miyajima is the home of the “floating” amber-colored wooden torii gate which symbolizes the Itsukushima Shrine. The remarkable beauty of this wooden structure built above the sea has been known to the world. With its long and distinguished history, it has been registered as a World Heritage Site. This traditional Japanese architecture together with Rilakkuma’s favorite honey inspired the Rilakkuma Sabo – Miyajima branch.
