You Can Only Try This Luxurious Shaved Ice Dessert Until the End of September
It's a cake-like peach-infused treat!
KIHACHI, a renowned restaurant-café, has recently added a luxurious shaved ice for their summer menu. It is called Cake Kankaku Momo no Milk-yaki Kakigoori (¥1,100) which is a cake-like peach-infused shaved ice topped with burnt meringue which is available from June 16 to September 30, 2019.
Cake Kankaku Momo no Milk-yaki Kakigoori
This shaved ice is layered with sponge cake, vanilla ice cream, white-fleshed peach and shaved ice made with peach juice. The surface is covered with fluffy Italian meringue and is browned with a burner to add a toasty flavor.
KIHACHI recommends that you, first, just take a scoop and enjoy as it is. Then pour the provided condensed milk sauce to enjoy a milkier taste.

KIHACHI’s Elizabeth Pie
KIHACHI’s Elizabeth Pie (¥1,200/slice) was inspired by KIHACHI Trifle Roll®, a Patisserie KIHACHI’s classic. This is made with fresh fruits, special diplomat cream, and mille-feuille pie. This is offered for a limited number of orders only starting from 2 p.m. as it is made only when it’s order to make sure consumers can enjoy the crunchiness of the pie.
A dessert that was born from the gastronomic town and goes well with wine is the Basque Cheesecake (¥850/slice). This is inspired by the popular burnt cheesecake from Basque Country, Spain. By baking it slowly, the inside is thick and creamy even if the surface is burnt.
KIHACHI CAFÉ's summer food menu is called Sekai no Gohan or the rice dishes of the world. It is arranged by French food chefs which is based on the rice dishes of different countries in the world. The chefs want it to be a balance of vegetables and rice, so even women who are mindful of what they eat can enjoy it without hesitation.

This Truffle Kaoru KIHACHI no Chicken Over Rice (¥1,500) is a Western-style rice dish slathered with truffle-infused soft boiled egg sauce. It is topped with chicken meat slices covered with cheese and fried in anchovy-flavored butter. Enjoy the rich aroma of the sprinkled truffle.
Homemade Roast Beef Cheese Fondue in Cold Spaghetti
The Homemade Roast Beef Cheese Fondue in Cold Spaghetti (¥1,600) is a cold pasta flavored with mentaiko (seasoned cod roe). It is topped with homemade roast beef and served with mozzarella cheese sauce for added flavor. This is available from June 16 to July 31, 2019.
Atsuatsu Fuwafuwa Tamago no Tom Yam-fu Spaghetti
Atsuatsu Fuwafuwa Tamago no Tom Yam-fu spaghetti (¥1,600) is a Tom Yam-style spaghetti mixed with salsiccia, eggplant, zucchini, paprika, among other vegetables, covered with fluffy soufflé egg.
These summer limited menu items are being served at three KIHACHI CAFÉ branches: Hibiya Chanter - Tokyo, Atre Urawa – Saitama, and Perrier - Chiba.
