Tokyo’s Next Shopping Paradise Will Open Just in Time for Spring
Where 60-yes, you read that right-60 unique shops are expected to open.
If you’re looking for new places to shop at in Tokyo, consider your wish granted. Mitsui Fudosan has announced the opening of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya this spring. The multifunctional 35-storey building, which is set to have its grand opening on March 29, 2018, will feature offices, retail stores, restaurants, and four basement floors.
There are 60 unique shops expected to open. Five international stores will open in Japan for the first time, while 22 new shops to watch for. Food won’t be a problem either, as you can dine at restaurants or lounge at terraces while enjoying the view of Hibiya Park. You can also catch a movie at their TOHO cinemas, which will have 11 theaters and a 2,300-seating capacity.
There will also be an area where people can enjoy the greenery and scenery of Hibiya Park. Tentatively called Sky Garden, it has lifestyle facilities like a fitness room, a shower room, and a powder area exclusively for women. There is also a place called Sky Conference where people can hold corporate conferences while enjoying a panoramic view of the park.
While all these make Tokyo Midtown Hibiya the new place to be, at least, when it opens, its most unique feature is that it will be open both on weekdays and weekends! Now you can shop to your heart’s delight every day of the week.
