NAKED is famous for projection mapping throughout the country. FLOWERS BY NAKED is a popular event that has been staged in Tokyo (Nihonbashi), Nagoya, Okinawa, Hong Kong, among others. Here in Kyoto, a fantastic space is produced by projection mapping in historical buildings. For this staging, the theme is “Hoo" (Phoenix).

In addition to projection mapping at the important cultural property, Karamon and the national treasure Ninomaru Palace, the Ikebana and digital art collaborated with the Kado Iemoto Ikenobo (the head family of a school of Japanese flower arrangement) to light up the Ninomaru Garden. Other projection mapping has also been added. On top of all that, they now also sell original goods and flower oracles.

NAKED's representative Ryotaro Muramatsu shared, “FLOWERS BY NAKED's work has spread to many places, but we have never done the exact same thing. In the Nijo Castle, we did something unique to the Castle. In particular, the indoor and outdoor projection mapping here is an unprecedented attempt. This time, the theme is the phoenix drawn on the Karamon gate. It is meaningful to do in the Castle, and it is not something that ends with a boom, but I hope to continue to grow for a number of years, adding some of the unique colors of the Castle. This year, the project is getting wider and even more amazing than last year. I hope you enjoy it.”
