Mirai on Library has a shipyard theme that fits Nagasaki
Omura City Library and Nagasaki Prefectural Library worked together to build a new facility called Mirai on Library. It is designed like a huge shipyard that holds more than 2 million books, which is considered as the largest collection in Kyushu. The extensive browsing area that includes a children’s room gives you abundant space to read. Omura City History Museum is attached to the facility.

There are only a few algae at the beginning of spring, so you can definitely see through the water clearly. The view changes depending on the time of day and the weather, so you always have something new to look forward to.
