You Can Go on A Virtual Stroll at This Online Rose Garden in Marugame City
Beautiful blooms everywhere.
Reoma Resort in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture launched the Online Rose Garden where you can go on a virtual tour of their vast rose gardens. Feel as if you are walking around the resort featuring their extensive rose garden full of beautiful flowers through videos. The garden is currently closed but is due to open on July 1, 2020.
Reoma Rose Garden with about 20,000 roses in bloom.
Reoma Resort is one of the biggest amusement parks in Chugoku and Shikoku area with 22 attractions such as water roller coasters and a big Ferris wheel, and show performances. Reoma Flower World, which is about 100,000 square meters with flowers blooming each season, is also one of the popular areas in the park. The Spring Big Rose Festival is held every year from May to June when about 100,000 roses bloom.
This year, the festival was planned from May 9, but the park closed due to the spread of COVID-19. Considering the situation, the park posted a video on YouTube showing colorful roses in bloom, so that people can at least enjoy the rose garden online. This video can be accessed from the official website as well.
In the big rose garden, you can enjoy the great Prasat Hin Arun which was made as a replica of a temple from Angkor Wat.
The video puts together the highlights of Big Rose Garden where you can see the beautiful collaboration of the Angkor Wat replica temples and roses, Irish English Rose Garden whose theme is Alice in Wonderland, and Reoma Rose Garden where 20,000 flowers from around the world gather.
You can enjoy many photos of the beautiful rose garden and get absorbed in the world of Alice in Wonderland and others.
Don’t miss the beautiful rose vines around the arches in the Irish English Rose Garden.
“We made the video so that viewers can feel like they are actually walking around the garden with their own feet. It’s a hard time to go out or travel, so we wish many of you can feel like walking around the garden with beautiful roses in bloom”, says Satake of Reoma Resort.
You can experience the roller coaster, Lady Bird Coaster, in the video.
Reoma Resort also participates in the Ouchi Yuenchi project where you can experience Japan’s amusement parks at your own home. Reoma Resort’s Lady Bird Coaster and Fantastic Parade can be enjoyed as well through videos. Now that we are encouraged to stay at home, we have time to enjoy these beautiful scenery and popular content online to help us feel like we are still enjoying the great outdoors.
Would you visit Reoma Resort once travel is allowed again? Which of the rose gardens did you enjoy “visiting” the most?
