Yokohama’s Tsurumi Ward Has a Lot of IG-Worthy Spots

The coastal area isn't just about factories.

Tsurumi Ward faces Tokyo Bay, and is located in the northeastern part of Yokohama. It is connected by two bridges: Yokohama Bay Bridge and Tsurumi Tsubasabashi. While the coastal area is an industrial area where factories such as Kirin Brewery and Nissan Motors stand, it also has a lot of interesting spots for those who aren’t afraid to skip the tourist trail. Read on to see which ones you can check off your list!

The terminal station of the Umi-Shibaura branch of the

There are benches in Umishiba Park that allow you to gaze at the ocean.

Umishiba Park (9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.) is a joint establishment with Umishibaura Station. Aside from overlooking the Tsurumi Tsubasa Bridge, it is also popular spot for the first sunrise viewing.
