The Night Wonder Aquarium in Japan Will Leave You Starry-Eyed
Where the stars and the ocean come together.
Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture
Every year, Enoshima Aquarium holds an event called Night Wonder Aquarium. This year, the theme is “The Sky Full of Stars.”
From July 15 to September 30, a video entitled The Night When the First Star Brought Me welcomed visitors as they walked under a sky, which filled up with more stars the further in they went. At Coastal Tank, they experienced an interactive fantasy world brought to life with sound motif and sensory technology.
At Sagami Bay Great Tank, a video entitled The Universe Named Ocean, The Life Named Universe was shown, its impressive and magnificent score perfectly complementing the spectacular scenery of fish swimming in one of the aquarium’s large tanks.
There was even a special 3-D projection mapping show that introduced guests to stars that are related to jellyfish and a dolphin show called Tonight’s Dolphin Night, held only on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.
All these only make up part one of the celebrations. More surprises await guests from October 1 to November 23 (part two) and November 24 to December 25 (part three), so make sure you drop by!
