HELLO KITTY SMILE, located on the west coast of Awaji Island, is a building where customers can enjoy the world of Hello Kitty. Inside the building, there are three restaurants and cafés. There, you can try grilled seafood, dimsum, and imported teas, among others.
They also have a projection mapping theater and a souvenir shop where you can find luxury and original Hello Kitty goods.
The most distinctive feature of HELLO KITTY SMILE is its façade. The Hello Kitty head has a height of 11 meters and overlooks the ocean. It’s the perfect place to admire the beautiful sunset.
The huge Hello Kitty head will immediately catch your attention from afar.
Once you go inside, the multiple Hello Kitty designs, statues, and backgrounds are ready to welcome you.
This Hello Kitty chandelier and illustration on the ceiling will greet you at the entrance.
Many of the areas in the building serve as great backgrounds for photos.

SMILE Restaurant is a buffet-style restaurant on the second floor of the main building. Their original oriental cuisine makes use of local ingredients. They also offer other dishes like shark’s fin and grilled Japanese pufferfish.
Over 70 dishes are included in the MIKETSUKUNI Course (¥5,940). One of them features shrimps and Awaji onions slathered in oriental chili sauce.
Aside from this, they also serve other courses such as the IZANAGI Course (¥8,424) and Earthen Pot Course (¥13,392).
SMILE Restaurant has luxurious interiors.

SMILE Terrace is a terrace restaurant on the first floor of the building. It gives guests a spectacular view of the ocean.
Guests seated at the counters can eat their meals facing the ocean.
Several dishes using local ingredients are served at the buffet table.
The oriental cuisine buffet has no time limit, which means you can enjoy and savour your food for as long as you want.

The PARTY Balcony serves more than 40 types of teas from all over the world. Here, customers can enjoy the world’s most refined teas and select from three courses.
You can opt to order the Oriental High Tea Course (¥3,564), which lets you choose one tea and 13 sweets to go with it.

The HELLO KITTY SMILE Theater and the galleries allow visitors to experience the fantastic world of Hello Kitty. You’ll have to purchase a special admission ticket to visit these areas and see the giant kaleidoscope.
The HELLO KITTY Theater consists of a dome that is 14 meters in diameter. Here, you can experience how projection mapping works.
Seeing projection mapping in action is an immersive experience.

Hello Kitty Original Goods
The souvenir shop, located next to the entrance, is where you can find 150 Hello Kitty goods that you can buy. They sell luxurious items, as well as original goods that are exclusively available at HELLO KITTY Smile.
