KidZania Koshien
is an interactive recreational center where children can realistically experience what it’s like to work different kinds of jobs. Together with partner industries and corporations, the center provides the necessary equipment, costumes, instructions, and workstations to make each of the job simulations as authentic as it can be.

The place is tremendously popular among families. Both kids and adults don’t only have fun, but also learn a whole lot about the society, economy, as well as important values to remember in the workplace.

For one, children get to experience the work of pilots in a pavilion that uses the actual aircraft. In partnership with All Nippon Airways, kids will be taught significant information, procedures, and responsibilities surrounding the aircraft pilot occupation. This section of the center is always readily available and lets 12 kids try the simulation at a time.

After checking the flight plan and the status of the weather, they’re ready to fly!

Two kids can work together in each cubicle to fly their plane properly.

The instructors are there to help familiarize the kids with the pilot’s operations.

They are trained to value the safety of their passengers and the importance of teamwork.

There’s another section in the center that provides kids the opportunity to work with animals. With the help of the Japan Racing Association, kids are taught how to be horse veterinarians and jockeys.

This lifelike replica of a horse moves about in a convincing way.

The children are taught how to properly groom a horse.

They check the condition of the horse’s hoof and remove dirt from it.

Cleaning the stable is an important factor that would keep the horse in a healthy state.

If your kids aspire to be a paramedic someday, this section gives them firsthand experience of riding an ambulance and applying first-aid treatment to patients. This section of KidZania Koshien is in collaboration with the Nippon Life Insurance Company.

The kids are all dressed up and ready to attend to the simulated emergencies.

The children can also experience being a nurse, doctor, and surgeon.

For kids who love trains, they can experience operating a train on a simulator. The center teamed up with the Hankyu Hanshin Holdings, Inc. to supply the accompanying graphics and sounds and make it seem like the kids are really driving a train. They get to learn the importance of communication and teamwork through this job experience.

The driver’s view in the simulation is taken from the actual driver’s seat of the Hanshin train.

The kids look sharp in their cool uniforms and caps.

Every effort was made to make this train look exactly like the real one.

The teamwork between the driver and conductor is important in order to provide a safe and comfortable ride for the passengers.

There’s also a separate section, in partnership with the
Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company that allows your kids to rush to the scene of a fire and extinguish the flames using water cannons.

The kids make sure that they’re fully geared up before heading to the fire site.

They alert the people around KidZania City of the fire truck passing by.

At the site, the kids aim their water cannons towards the fire.

They line up and offer their salutes after completing the mission.

This firefighting activity promotes responsibility and teamwork among the kids.

Come over to
