Kyoto is known for its breathtaking landscapes and, more recently, its beautiful coffee shops, but if you’re looking for something new, we found a museum that offers cute, IG-worthy backdrops that are sure to get you those double taps.
Mainly dressed in pink, the PAPEPO MUSEUM has several sections where you can have your photos taken. Among the museum’s most popular features are the hanging yellow and pink bananas, banana-shaped swing, and bathtub.
There are a total of 1,500 bananas hanging from the ceiling.
If you’re visiting alone, the staff at the museum will be more than happy to take your photos for you. You can also choose from the props provided to include in your shot.
This pink wall features several colorful swirl lollipops.
You’ll look like an angel if you stand in front of this cute angel wings wall art.
Make sure to take photos at the banana-shaped swing set too!
Fun trivia: The museum’s name, Papepo, is an abbreviation of the words, panorama, paint, and portrait. You’ll be sure to get a lot of cool and creative shots here.
